UXDA Wins the World-Famous IF Design Award

We are over the moon to announce that UXDA (UX Design Agency) has received one of the most prestigious design prizes in the world — the IF Design Award. UXDA was awarded in the Service Design category for the voluminous UX transformation of the ITTI Digital core banking solution.

This year’s IF Design Award competition was tough, there were 7 300 entries submitted from 56 countries worldwide. An international jury of 78 leading design experts from all over the world carefully evaluated all of the participants in categories of Product, Packaging, Communication and Service Design, Architecture and Interior Architecture as well as Professional Concept.

The international jurors recognized UXDA’s core banking solution UX/UI design for its exceptional transformation embodying a mission to inspire and lead the financial industry to a better future.

As the field that UXDA’s specializes in — engineering of digital financial services, is a specific one, there’s no wonder that in 67 years since the foundation of the IF Design Award, there have been only seven digital finance service designs awarded. This year, UXDA was awarded alongside Apple that was recognized for its digital finance service design of the well-known Apple card.

To be awarded alongside such huge tech and digital product giants like Apple, IBM, and Samsung — is a very big honor and an acknowledgment that we are definitely moving in the right direction with the digital financial products UXDA creates.

Since 1953, the Hannover based IF Design Award has been recognized as an arbiter of quality for exceptional design. The IF label is renowned worldwide for outstanding design services, and the IF Design Award is one of the most important design prizes in the world.

IF Design Award is a global quality sign for exceptional and innovative design products. The winners from previous years include the world’s leading companies in different kinds of fields, like Apple, Samsung, IBM, Logitech, Sony, Porsche, Philips. UXDA’s core banking solution UX/UI design can be found in the “Winners” section of the IF Design Award World Design guide.

It will also be featured on the iF WORLD DESIGN GUIDE, in the iF design app and are displayed at the iF design exhibition in Berlin.

The winning core banking UX transformation was done for UXDA’s client ITTI Digital — a well known, respected banking software vendor from Paraguay.

As UXDA stated in our application for the IF Design Award — ITTI Digital core banking is a breeze of fresh air in a field that hasn’t changed for decades. This intuitive, user-centered solution is unlike any other banking back-office available on the market. Its UX transformation was like a heart surgery, as the back-office is what keeps hundreds of banking inner processes running.

To make it user-centered, we translated huge amounts of heavy data into human language. As a result, the learning curve of banking employees reduced from months to hours. The potential of human errors decreased significantly. Ensuring a huge increase in service speed, employee productivity and customer satisfaction.

The main pain UXDA addressed with this voluminous core banking UX design transformation was that the back office solution was so complex to master and use, that it led employees to mistakes and errors. Customer satisfaction was rapidly decreasing as the services were slow and ineffective. Employees felt unmotivated and stressed.

The main benefit that the ITTI Digital core banking solution gained throughout the transformation was that it turned into an intuitive core banking that assists banking employees, solves problems and makes them excited about their job. It became a pioneer in the field of core-banking, that ensures a huge increase in service speed, employee productivity, and banking customer satisfaction.
