2024 Wrap-Up by UXDA: It’s Been Crazy — Happy 2025!
What an incredible year 2024 has been — challenging on many fronts yet extraordinarily productive.
Today — December 31 — is more than just the last day of the year. It’s a moment for all of us to honor the resilience, creativity, and dignity of financial experts worldwide who balance innovation with trust. Your guidance empowers individuals and fuels the engine of global prosperity. Thank you for your tireless work to keep finance accessible, reliable, and transformative.
It was a breakthrough year for UXDA:
- We developed a new digital experience branding framework and expanded our work with top institutional clients across emerging markets.
- Our team successfully completed designs for several products, pioneering innovative concepts like spatial banking, ESG banking, customizable banking, and more.
- Even though our team simultaneously served 12 financial brands, in 2024 we also negotiated with 105 potential clients and onboarded 4 new ones.
- Recognizing the importance of team spirit, we organized 12 internal events to keep everyone motivated and inspired.
- On the content front, we published 112 new articles across UXDA blog, Forbes, Finextra, UX Planet, Muzli, and other media outlets.
- We also revealed 10 new case studies, ultimately reaching and inspiring 378,000 readers worldwide.
Meanwhile, 2024 year’s tech headlines were nothing short of mind-blowing — every major breakthrough promises to start a huge wave of transformation in 2025 including finance. 2024’s hottest tech topics:
- New human-level AI model: A new ChatGPT’s o3 model by Open AI has achieved human-level results on the ARC-AGI benchmark designed to measure “general intelligence” — scored 85%.
- On-device AI adoption: AI is widespread adopted at the mobile OS and device level. Employees everywhere are harnessing AI copilots for everyday tasks.
- Acceleration of humanoid robotics: Over a dozen advanced humanoid robot projects are underway.
- Apple Vision Pro & Meta’s Orion Glasses: AR tech took a quantum leap forward, with Apple Vision Pro and Orion glasses making science fiction a reality.
- Autonomous vehicles: Robotic cars continued their rollout, and flying taxis appear to be just around the corner.
- Bitcoin at 100K and rising CBDCs: Bitcoin hit a record 100,000 USD, while central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) are about to launch.
- Neuralink milestone: A paralyzed individual can now control a computer via a brain-implanted chip.
- Climate and ESG innovations: Climate-tech on the rise and Fintech products are increasingly integrating sustainable and ESG-friendly solutions.
